Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.

Kiwanians are volunteers changing the world through service to children and communities. Kiwanis members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. They develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research, and much more. No problem is too big or too small. Why? Because working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child a chance to learn, experience, dream, and succeed, great things happen!

In the early 1900s, Roy A. Hunt worked his way up from mill clerk to president of Alcoa, the company his father helped found. After establishing The Hunt Foundation in 1951, he established the Roy A. Hunt Foundation in 1966 as an endowed resource so that future generations could be involved in charitable giving as a family. Three generations of Hunt family members now serve as trustees, continuing the Foundation’s mission of supporting organizations that strive to improve the quality of life. The Foundation annually grants $3 million in the United States, primarily through proposals invited by the trustees and through the Foundation’s special initiatives.

Since 1974, we have served a growing congregation in the city and county of Denver. It is with great pride today we extend our help to communities across Colorado from our new home in historic Lower Downtown.

This Church realizes Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard’s vision that all Churches of Scientology become what he termed Ideal Organizations (Orgs). Ideal Orgs not only provide the ideal facilities for Scientologists on their ascent to higher states of spiritual freedom, but they also serve as a home for the entire community and a meeting ground of cooperative effort to uplift people of all denominations.

To that end, we are committed to upholding Denver’s heritage as a city imbued with the frontier spirit of enterprise and collaboration. We look forward to working together with every individual and group dedicated to achieving the shared dream of a drug-free, crime-free and flourishing future for all.
